Hi,
i was wondering if someone here can help me,i'm having some trouble with my jtag flash.
My system is an old school xenon 1903 (with 2 diode jtag + jumper and LPT cable),which i have successfully got 4 nand dumps from (all identical).I have also managed to get xell on it (got CPU key) and then updated to xellous, and that's where it ends ! Every time i try and flash a new nand (i've have tried XBR,FreeBOOT,JTag Tool and 360 multibuilder with different kernel options) i just end up with a blank screen and a flashing green light on the box due to no drive being connected.
One thing i have noticed after extracting some stuff out of the original nand, with 360 flash tool, is that my kernel is only 7357 and i've read that this needs to be 7371 for the jtag to work.So i tried flashing original nand back to then try and update the dash (removed jtag) but still got a blank screen etc.Oh,and i've gone over the soldering with a fine tooth comb and that's ok.
What have i done wrong ? Is my nand bad ? Is there some way to inject 7371 into the nand ? and will that work ?
I'm just going round in circles and getting nowhere. Please could someone who's a bit more experienced than me possibly help.

try using nandx and read your nand to see if your cb version is JTAG-able. Is this a second hand 360? If so, it's possible that M$ refurbished the console with the 7357 dashboard. I've read years ago that some of those refurbs had a non-JTAGable cb version because M$ updated it. Hopefully this is not the case. I believe that all consoles can be RGH'd now instead of using the JTAG hack. I've never RGH'd a console, so maybe somebody with a bit more knowledge on the subject can respond to this post.

Hi,thanks for the input. No it's not a refurb just had it forever and it's been in storage for a bit.I've checked out the CB in degraded and it comes out at 1903 LDV 0,which as far as i know is exploitable.
