Hi, I have seen on the net there are xkey + gecko chip is the only way to make xbox360 can back up my games then play them straight from it. Is that any other ways to do it without them because its price about $ 160 total. Mine is either falcon or beginning of Jasper. Thanks in advance.
Post your dash version, also state if you want online use or you intend to stay offline,if you want both xkey is only way to go or use two consoles, how to backup do a forum search there's also a tut in 2nd link from top in this forum, either way it's going to cost whatever is required in parts & labour
Dash number is to high so can't be jtag'd,that leaves xkey or rgh,for reliability the xkey would be best option as it will leave console relatively stock & will do what you require.
Nah! this forum you posted in,2nd link down from top should have what you need, however it will require a 360 dvd drive flashed with 0800 firmware & the necessary adapter to connect dvd drive to computer thru usb, then you'll need the free software of xbox backup creator & abgx, once you've got the drive it'll be pretty straight forward
would you mind to tell me how to determine which dash it too high or good to go? I almost sure that one is falcon (it is right after the rrod gen ones right?). Is dashboard update-able or not? because last night when i wanted to play fear3 it asked me to update then I updated.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.
