Hey guys, I used to come to these boards years back on another account. So i'm not really a noob. Just kinda forgot things. Well... now it's 2013 and I'm wanting to buy a 360 off of someone to play backups. Problem is, i'm sort of out of touch on what to do. I remember the whole verbatim thing and knowing I have to use imgburn (not sure what settings), but now im seeing all kinds of new terms like "XGD3" and some others.

My question is, what should I be looking our for when buying an already modded 360 from someone and has there been any steps that changed regarding on burning the backups?

You can web search xgd2 vs xgd3

You need to specify if you intend to go on live,if not then a jtag or buy a new 360 & get the rgh done

Same discs used to burn verb from singapore
rip with 0800 drive not kreon
latest xbc will be required for ripping since discs now at 8gb for some rips

burning as far as i know requires ihas or a compatible drive using burnermax software & imgburn
