Does anyone know if you can buy any of the confirmed drives on Amazon.com? Also with the B on the end of the drive numbers is the B just for black or is that the Rev. letter?

It's for revision. You need revision B.

From what I've read, all of the models made in the last year or two are B revisions, so unless you get really old stock you should be fine. I'm yet to see anyone say they ordered a drive from a large retailer like Amazon or NewEgg and it hasn't been a B.
