If I order a Lite-On iHAS124B could I also buy SATA/IDE to USB 2.0 Adapter and use this on my laptop? Thanks for any help.

Even though I was pretty sure I wouldn't need it, I ordered one of these when I got my ihas burner, just in case the burner didn't want to play nice with my motherboard.

Anyway, I ended up not even bothering trying my motherboard at first and just hooked up the ihas burned to my desktop's USB port with this and it worked like a charm.
