Liteon 83850c Spoofed As 93450c from microsoft

I tried everything to get this drive to dump with no luck , mra hack & lo38!
My friend gave me his 360 to flash that he had bought refurbed. The seal was intact and it has the silver refurbed sticker on bottom. the drive has a sticker over firmware version saying 93450c so i preceded as a 9 series with xecuter probe v2, cut traces double checked with bright light below board and could see through it nothing was touching. the drive would not show up at all. so i connected my 0800 drive and it showed up so i triple checked my cuts and made them wider. nothing!... so i tried intro because I've had drives go into vendor before....nothing so i re soldered and drive is still functional. peeled firmware sticker back to discover that its was a 83850c. so i tried the 8 series route jungleflash recognizes it as 9 series so it says it cant do lo38... so i tried desoldering and it still didnt show up.. tried a regular intro with no luck and last but not least tried dummy from ixtreme with no luck as last resort. drive is still functional!
i have plenty of spare liteons does anyone have any ideas to get the original firmware key off of drive? (without a jtag) and even if i did would i be able to spoof a 8 series to 9 on lt+ 1.1 and still be safe on live

Not once did you mention using a multi meter. It's impossible to do the MRA hack by guessing. You need to know if the cuts are actually "cut". I've done 100's of the liteon drives with the MRA. Or just buy a lizard.

I think a $20 probe would be even cheaper than the Lizard, by about $80!!

Considering he's already tried it and can't get it to work. The lizard is NOOB friendly.

Considering he's already tried it and can't get it to work. The lizard is NOOB friendly.

I do own a multimeter and i did test the cuts the second time i recut it and the third time after i desoldered them. and when the cuts are 1.5mm wide im sure i dont need to doubt them as they can clearly be seen! I also used a fiberglass scratch pen to clean them and the contact points for probes. I did exactly like ive always done on the last fifty liteons I've flashed using the mra hack.
I gave up last night as the gentlemen was hesitant becasue of me having to spoof his firmware and i clearly remember that being a no no when LT firmware was first released for liteon.
when i get my hands another 9 series i will try again as it bugs the hell out me that i didnt get the dummy bin after two hours of trying! and not to mention this is the first drive i havnt been able to flash!
Thanks for the noob advice though
