Hi Chaps

I am sure someone will be able to answer.

My xbox is running LT 2.0. The games I play at the moment were all burned using Imagburn using the tutorials on here. The larger games new Formats XDG3 games are burnt the same way however does not have enough space on the disk which is fine as they still play however I cannot go online with them and is best to play totally offline. I need to do the TU trick with a flash drive to get them to work.

My questions is when I update to LT 3.0 on saturday whill all the current games still work offline. Will i need to do the same TU trick.

With new games that I will play in the future I know these can be checked first through the new AGBX, and i know the current games i have ISO should be checked first through AGBX and then reburned however I am wondering if i need to do this if i play offline

cheers

yes you still need to run them through abgx to assure that the correct topology data is in place, if not then the game will not load. you should not need to do any tricks to get them to boot.

Just as well I kept the ISO's then.

Does this also mean all the old games XDG2 games wont work also?

Just wondering if it is even worth doing, lol

This may sound like a dumb question................. Can you run the already burned disc with the ISO (XDG3 Format) through the new AGBX without having to reburn!!!!

Yes you can, but if it finds errors you will have to reburn them. When this happens to me i just use imgburn to make a iso of the disc. then run ABGX on that, let it correct everything, then reburn again.

only the XGD3 and AP2.5 games need to be patched. the non-AP2.5 XGD2 games are fine as long as you made sure they were patched with the correct SSv2 data. Even if you didn't patch those they will still play fine on LT3.0, there just not considered live safe.
