this is my first attempt at modding so i would feel more comfortable if someone would confirm my work. i soldered a tiny switch onto a maximus power dongle, and from what i understand all i need is a needle attached to a wire for my probe. is this info correct, also can someone confirm my soldering?

post a link to a picture but leave a space somewhere so it shows up as text then someone can just copy it and delete the space to find the picture like www (picture link) com etc. people will make it out

ok so with a switch on the 3.3v line all you need is a grounded wire with a pin on it

with the drive powered on and detected by JF press the PhatKey button, then click Yes

3.3v Switch OFF, connect ground wire(probe)to MPX01, 3.3v Switch ON

As soon as you see status 0x52 appear ? lift the probe off from the point and within a few seconds you will get extract complete

Switch 3.3v switch OFF then ON again. Then Press ?OK?
Then you should see the save box appear to save your Dummy.bin
