Motherboard compatible for flashing drive?

I would like to know if my motherboard is capable of flashing xbox 360 dvd drives. My motherboard says it has 4 SATA ports on the motherboard but Im not sure if Id be able to use it for flashing as I am kind of new to this. The motherboard model I am using is a 945GCT-M3. Would I be able to use either of those ports? If not what will I need to buy to flash dvd drives? Any help is greatly appreciated. TO see a picture and specifications of the motherboard you can google it.

That should do it, but Im not positive. If not, the sata cards with the VIA chipsets are around 10 bux on ebay

Thats ich7 so I am with snickle. it should work fine. I have ich8 and ich10 systems and both of them work fine.
