Mw3 Title Updates Installed..still Asking For Update?

So I installed the TU for MW3 onto my XBOX 360's HDD using a transfer cable and XPLORER 360 EXTREME (in the cache folder of partition 3) I plug my HDD back into the XBOX and go to load up my back up of MW3 (through my XK3Y) and it still asks for an update to be applied? I wouldn't have any issue with that except my console is not letting me apply any updates at all - I think my XBOX is banned or some s***? It just says this update can not be applied on any new games I try to play. I have tried several.

Anyways..why is it still asking for an update when I put the TU for MW3 on there through XPLORER and how can I stop this? Obviously I need to find a way around not having to update from the game itself..

well all you need to do to fix this is flash your box back to stock fw.then do the update it will take that way.then reflash your box to lt 2.0 and you will be fine

okay..i thought that was the whole point of the xkey? to not have to flash anything..anyways I finally was able to update my dashboard to the latest version. But now any XGD3 games wont load and I get a red quadrant ring in the bottom right of the xbox...greaatatatatttt. I am going to hook up the drive to the pc again, and dump the OFW over again and try that on the xk3y..maybe that will help. any ideas how to fix this now? :(
