I just got my new ihas524 b burner and external inclosure. I followed every tutorial, and I cannot burn proper Xgd3's. The firmware that came on it was AL2A already, so I flashed BurnerMax F.W and changed settings in EEPROM in options to Smart Burn...check. Force Hyper and Online Hyper Tuning...check. I pulled up Imgburn and increased buffer to 500mb, put in proper layer-break, am using Verbatim 2.4x 001's and cannot get a good burn. Can someone please help? I also changed advanced settings in imageburn to match EEPROM. This sucks...5 bad burns. I had also done KProbe, but don't know how to load the pics.....the blue on the right is wide and peaked. PI Max is: 173 Average is: 22.34 PI Max is: 11 Average is:.10

check all 4 options in eeprom, clear opc history and power cycle drive. uncheck opc and burnproof in imgburn. burn at 4x then check with kprobe at 4x. these are the stteings i use and have no probs.

O.k....I tried to burn another one before I went to bed at 230 A.M.....no luck....I haven't had a chance to try what you suggested, but the drive was shut off last night. I should check all options.... turn the power off and on in the back of the enclosure, and run the 001's at 4X, but uncheck opc and burn proof in image burn..... I'll try it.... thanks. Hey, one more question, when setting up the drive, the instruction said to disable a.h.c.i.... I didn't know what that was, I figured it was a SATA thing... I'm on USB.... Note: The burner is burning the whole disc...... Thanks!

No go....did not work. It says unsupported disc, and sometimes to clean it error. My son is playing Mortal right now, that a friend made for me., so I know it probably isn't the system. I'm running it through Kprobe now.....errrrr! I have about 10 Verbatim coasters.

Boot up in safe mode by hitting F8 on start up.
Boot safe mode only and DO NOT do anything on your pc while burning
Also Kprobe speed needs to be set at 4
