NHL 13 Prompts Update?

Hey All,

Recently acquired NHL '13 and when I put the disk in I get prompted to do a system update. I'm told that this could possibly make all other XGD3 security games no longer work? Can anyone clarify this? I recently ipdated my dash when I ran Prototype 2. I am running LT+2.0 with a hitachi- 59 drive. Can anyone clarify if this update is safe?

so what if i have a lite on drive can i still let the game update my xbox 360 im pretty sure i have 13599 dashboard right now?

if you have 13599 you are safe, depending on what firmware you have you will see no difference!

i know i have lt+ atleast but i might have lt2.0 would that make a difference?

depending on the drive, it could make some xgd3 titles not work!
