So let's say I have a LiteOn 83850c (which is my current drive). I'm just looking to update the drive. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is all that would need to be done.
1. Connect Lizard to drive.
2. Erase data.
3. Connect Lizard to PC using USB to transfer dummy.bin.
4. Flash using Lizard.
Also, does this thing have the newest firmware built into it, or would you have to transfer it over with the dummy.bin?

yes. All the same. No you can redump if you don't have the keys. Just like JF. Only thing is, you don't have to cut or solder the traces like before.

So this works with any drive out there? And by connecting it to the PC via USB, you can dump the keys to the PC and load the dummy.bin from the PC with no problems at all?
I need to be sure because I'm definitely going to buy one of these, I just need to make sure it will do everything I need it to.

correct all drives except for the new hitachi which no one can dump yet.

i am very interested as well, even though the price tag is a little pricey, i think i will still wait to see what xecuter puts out, no real details on it yet just that it cost half as much.

NO way? It's worth it, especially if you have every game that comes out. It's handy for modders who will be modding more than one drive. I've done 100's, and this will save me some time.

this looks like a handy piece,but i like the jungleflasher way with my PC,for $100,yea a little pricey,the 9000 drives is the only drive that needs cuts,i come across these drives like one every 3 months,most are benq,sammys,hitachi,so the amount of times i may use this for the price,ill pass,flashing drives with your PC and jungleflasher has become so easy and fast,me personally,dont need it,

I get quite a bit of 9xxx series drives. Some of the 8xxx series needs cuts. I've had customers use the lo83 which only works one time so you have to do the MRA hack. Plus, I just have to have anything new LOL
