Not playing xdg3

Hi all,
Hope everyone had a great Christmas.
Quick question as I'm a bit stumped. Have flashed my Elite to 3.0 but none of the backups are working. Any games below xdg3 work fine. I reflashed incase of a bad one and still the same. Anyone have any ideas?

Have you ran them through ABGX and checked the XGD3 burn quality with Kprobe? Also,what's the issue your seeing?

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes they were ran through abgx. Some when trying to load state disc is not supported and others state unrecognizable disc please clean. Cheers

Disc not supported is usally bad topology data, but could be bad burn. Unrecognized disc sounds like bad burn. I alway run my backups though ABGX after burning, and then run Kprobe on them. If you ran ABGX on the burn and its all green. Then you should try Kprobe and make sure your burns are in spec.
Guess I should ask. Are these games tunicated or do you have a Burner Max enabled burner and doing full burns?

deepc266 forgot one question: What media do you use?
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

I use Verbitim. Forgot to mention, these backups have been previously played on my old 360 I had with lt 3.0 and were burned with burner max

Yeah I'll purchase a new laser and try that. Strange though it will play ap25 discs?

i think the XGD2 games might be easier to read since theyre not over burned. A laser going bad can make it do weird things. like i got one friend that can eject and reload the game enough times it will play fine.

Hey guys, think I might of fixed. The screws underneath which hold the 2 metal rods where the laser moves up and down, I adjusted them and I just got Arkham city to boot up. I'll keep you informed if it goes again. Thanks to everybody for their advice :)

Just to add its now not playing any ap25 or xdg3 but is playing originals perfectly. Have reflashed it and no change. Cant be the laser then? I have tried my backups in a friends 360 and they work perfectly.
