Hi m8's
i soft moded my original xbox 6 years ago and once i was done i thought i was done soft moding it but i didnt once i started up my xbox on my tv i get the ring of death. i tried every steps here in the forum but none seem to help . and my hdd hard drive (original one) its locked and cant get it unlocked i dont know the password. any help will be greatly appreciated . im looking for either fixing it without a mod chip or if theres a mod chip that will skip all of this it will be awesome just will want to know what will you guys recommend thanks

the two places listed below are reasonably active if no help is forth comming,in the meantime AID Deluxe or x-wizard or slayers 2.7 (i think that's as far as slayers versions got) are the installers as well as for any maintenance & unlocking,the AID would be the most up to date with most of it's utilities under advanced & run a live cd,it con tains all you need for soft or hard mod,personally i prefer modchips & nowadays are quite cheap & that includes if someone else has to fit it all up less than $70nz,saves the hassle that your having,only issue you have assuming the box is ok is whether you still have eeprom intact,yeah anyway that's all i can advise on
