A few years ago got someone to flash my drive. Was then able to burn games on my PC and they worked fine on my Xbox.

Didnt use my xbox for a while and in the meantime changed dvd writer on my PC. Recently tried to burn a newer game but it doesnt work at all.

Tried some of my older games (burnt last year) and they still work. Not sure if its relevant but I've got Kinect now and notice the XBOX360 console has changed.

Questions:-

1. Do the newer games not work because they use different protection and my drive needs to be up to date flashed again?

2. Or is it something to do with my Kinect console?

3. Or could it be my XBOX just doesnt like the burns done by my new DVD writer? (I guess I could check this by downloading an old game that I know works and burning again).

1. You need new firmware flashed to your drive.
