I used imgburn to copy the game rage last night . I put the disc into my xbox with a hitachi 79 drive which was originally modded to play xbox 360 games about 2 years ago. And it shows a black screen and then goes back to the dashboard . my dashboard is 2.013599.0 . it still plays the older games but wont play the xgd3 games . this is the log that came up afterwards. Please Help ? Any help would be great . You can pm me if you like or just leave a comment . Thanks

Sounds like you need to update to the latest firmware for your drive. Im not sure whats out for the hatachi drives. Ive never had one and Ive had a lot of 360's.

Ive heard Liteons, Hitachis and Benq dvd drives wont play XGD3 truncated discs the only drives that will are Samsung. youll have to buy an Liteon IHas burner and use burner max etc. Then the dvd drives will play the backups

first of all if you notice he has 2 ihas-b drives, dont know if he has burnermax or not, the first advice is correct though you need to update your firmware.
