Hi guys,

My 360 info:
phat lite-on
LT3.0+
dashboard 2.0.14699.0

I havent used my 360 since this January. Today I turned on and noticed there is system update from live. My question is: Should I roll back my lite-on firmware to original before proceeding the system update or it is okay to just proceed the update directly?

they say you should always roll back to stock before updating. i have never rolled back and am still modded and on xbox live.

updating with CFW is as safe as playing the games on xbox live, since the 13599 update that reflashed all drives with a new firmware, the drives are most likely not going to be reflashed again! I personally never flash to stock before doing any update!
