Folks my sons xbox was banned from xbox live, what i want to know if he swaps his xbox with his friend who does not play on line, will the games saved on the other hdd play in the banned console with kinect, like just swap HDD over.
I have tried this and the other hdd from the other box is looking for an update from xbox, but as the console has been banned it cant update it, is it possible to update the box with a usb to get around this problem.
Is it just possible to transfer all of the saved games from one HDD to the other one.

yes there are many transfer kits available that will allow you to move everything from one drive to another.
Ok update on this one, swapped out the boxes and the HDD from working box into the banned console, only problem was the kinect would not work, kept looking to get on to live update to update the software, i put the usb in that i had the software on and it would not work, tried putting a disc in no joy either, so looks like even swapping HDD over the banned console still wont work.
Also hear there is a deamon chip on the way to sort this live problem out, anyone know anything about this ??
The Demon is a chip by Team xecuter that allows dual NAND, meaning RGH dashboard and official dashboard. You'd also need a RGH chip and all hardware neccessary for that (about the price of a used Xbox 360) and some soldering skills. For unbanning you'd also need an ID of a clean console and some programming (but you won't need the Demon for that).
