Ok i have found a couple of guides on ripping games and i just want to be sure that i am correct on this still being applicable as the guides were fairly old.
If i get a regular xbox360 drive no matter what kind and flash it with 0800 FW i can rip games. I ask as i have my old Xbox360 FAT at home (I am in Afghanistan)and could easily use this to rip the games if it would work. I already have the required tools to flash using my laptop just need to be sure this is correct and want to see how up to date it really is.
either a BenQ or a Lite-On with 0800v3 firmware for ripping. abgx360 to verify and inject topology data for newer games. a Lite-On iHAS124B, Lite-On iHAS224B, Lite-On iHAS324B,Lite-On iHAS424B, Lite-On iHAS524B, Lite-On iHAS624B flashed with BurnerMax for burning and your 360 drive flashed with LT3.0 for playing.
If all the tuts i needed were there then i wouldnt have posted the last time...My question was also not answered. I see there are different ones you guys have posted yes i understand this. As i am in afghanistan i cant take apart a console that is in the states to see what kind of lite-on it has so again my question. Would any lite-on that is in an xbox360 work for this process of ripping. I want to save cash if i can if not then oh well all i need is a yes or no...Dont refer me back to guides i have looked over and not found the section on ripping. As i am not a big vault of knowledge and can not remember the drive it has in it i just need that question answered.....simply yes or no. Or even a maybe just in case there are some lite-ons that wont work for it.
Hate to be an asshole but your treating me like a kid and not answering the question.....
