RROD fix - scratched motherboard xbox won't turn on

I had the RROD and tried to fix it by applying a new layer of thermal paste and replacing the x-clamps with screws, I think I tighten the GPU heatsink and the motherboard too much and now it won't even turn on. I found this scratched on the motherboard, Is this what is preventing it from booting? and how can I fix this? thanks.

that could cause a problem, as you see one trace is completely wiped out! applying screws does not always fix your RROD, and you never want to tighten them too much!

Either throw it away or get out an exacto knife, some solder and some thin wire and repair the traces.

Here's a tutorial on how to repair traces and lifted pads.
