Should I be worried about these results from ABGX (added question)

Ripped my own retail copy of Saint's Row 3 and am curious about the results.
It says game data was verified but stealth wasn't
My DMI and SS are unverified but in the upper section of the results it says that both "match game"
Is this basically what I want to see when I rip my own copies or should I just always set the auto fix to level 3 and let it patch what ever it wants?
Is there any harm is just always using auto fix level 3?
I rip my games with my Benq drive flashed with 0800 v.3 firmware
Thanks

That result is fine.
If you know what you're doing when ripping games - which you obviously do, based on that abgx360 log - then there's no good reason to use level 3 for autofix as it just means that you trust the rips of some anonymous guy on the Internet over your own rips.

Thanks for the responce. Is there anything in the log that makes me certain I didn't have any read errors when ripping? Should I not even pay attention to the verification part and just make sure I get the "Basic stealth check passed!" message?
Thanks again

The SS and DMI can vary. Look here for instance: -
http://www.abgx360.net/verified.php?f=pressings&q=BF6EAD6D
There's your game in the database. There's 4 different combinations of SS and DMI, which in itself shows you that the SS and DMI can vary. Also, imagine that only 1 combination of SS and DMI had been uploaded to the database. That means that anyone with a backup of the game that contains 1 of the other 3 combinations would see "unverified" solely because nobody had uploaded them.
If it's anything but the SS/DMI then it could mean a problem, but as they can vary then it's nothing to worry about as long as you know what you're doing when it comes to ripping and I would trust my own results over the results in some online database.

Don't want to snipe the thread but I had a similar problem with a backup of Batman A/C where the ss and dmi were unverified until I ran the iso again with abgx 1.06, everything was verified and matched after patching the iso twice for some reason.

Now I have a new question with ABGX
I have a backup copy of Fable 3. I need to reburn it because abgx came back with anydvd style corruption on the dvd backup. I created an .iso of the backed up dvd with imgburn. I put abgx on auto fix 3 and let it do it's thing. It comes back all green now but I'm concerned with the SS version. It claims the game has an SS version 1 in the log. I would have to assume that this game is new enough that it should have an SS version 2. When I ripped the game originally I was using my old PC Kreon drive that was not capible of reading SS ver. 2's (so I have read). So basically what I am asking is can the SS version 1 be trusted on Xbox Live? If not can I manually inject a SS version 2 into the iso? I believe the reason I was banned the first time was due to my kreon drive not reading the correct SS data (or could have only been the anydvd corruption that did me in). I was not aware of ABGX the first time I was banned.
Thanks

you can manually inject any ss2 version files into a game iso then repatch with abgx as it will see the ss is wrong then get the correct v2 ss for the game file. This is how i have done all my v1ss games where there is a v2 ss file for it.
Hope that makes sense and helps

SSv2 files for that particular version of Fable 3 (you want the second one down on this list): -

Should I patch all .iso's that I have that are SS v1? Is it not safe on live with SS v1 when there is a SS v2?
Just to be "safer", you want to patch games from 2006/2007 and newer to ssv2, if you're not ripping the games yourself with an 0800 drive.

The SS file stores a number of angles. These angles were always (and may still be) 1, 91, 181 and 271 give or take a degree or two. The angles are used to answer challenges which prevent the backup from being detected as not an original game. Some deviation from the target is allowed.
A Kreon drive uses preset angles (with some jitter applied) and creates an SSv1. This is a problem if a game is mastered in a way so that different angles are used, because the SSv1 file wouldn't contain angles that match those of the original game and your console would fail to answer the challenges.
An 0800 drive actually reads the angles from the disc. These can be stored in either an SSv1 or SSv2 file. The difference between the two seems to be that with SSv2, each angle is read and stored a number of times. I guess this gives you a better chance of getting an accurate reading compared to reading the angle just once.
c4eva said that SSv2 is "preferred", so he didn't say it's "vital". I'm speculating here, but I think he said that for a couple of reasons: -
1. If the backup contains an SSv1 and you don't know how to see if it was created using a Kreon drive or an 0800 drive, then you may not be safe if a game came out that used different angles. If it says "SSv2" in abgx360 then you know a Kreon drive wasn't used to create it, so you won't get caught out if the angles have changed.
2. Reading and storing the angles multiple times allows for greater accuracy.
So he's thinking ahead and considering whether MS would deliberately master some games in a way that the angles are different from those that were previously used for all games, as this would catch out Kreon rips. Whether any games have been mastered with different angles, I don't know. All of the SS files I've ever looked at (including SSv2 files made with an 0800 drive) have contained the same 1, 90, 180 and 270 angles, give or take a degree or two, so it could be that it's just a potential issue and not an actual one.
Hopefully that answers your question, even if it is in a rather long-winded fashion, lol.

Great explination. Thanks. One more quick question. In the earlier post about manually injecting the SS v2 for Fable 3, you had mentioned which SS v2 file to get out of the possible 4 different ones. I noticed that the one you said to get had the same SS and DMI crc's as my SS v1 and my original DMI. Is it important to find an SS v2 that has the same crc as my SS v1 or does it not matter?

It doesn't matter as long as the XEX/Media ID match your game. I usually go for the SS/DMI that have matching CRCs if possible, but you don't have to do that and I shouldn't really have implied that you do have to do that above, so sorry about that. Make sure you run the ISO through abgx360 one more time after manually patching it to make sure everything is good and you should be fine.

Got a question about the SS table that show the results of the ss angle and deviation. I know that ABGX is saying that the SS is verified but why are the angles off by 1-3 degrees? Is this normal

The angles will deviate slightly from the target sometimes. It's nothing to worry about. I can't remember how much the angle has to deviate before it's an issue, but I'm sure it was 15+ degrees, maybe even more, as MS have to take into account the fact that 360 drives can't read these angles perfectly every single time so there is some leeway.
