Just done my first backup from my "gta iv" and ran abgx following this guidelink
when i run it for the second time it shows that the version is ss1 not ss2 in that window with the black and white writing.

My question is what is ss1 and what is ss2?, does it matter?
can I now burn it to disc and play it on my new flashed benQ drive?

note i do not plan to use xboxlive.

SSv2 are the files you want, they are the security sectors, what drive did you backup game with, if its a kreon its no good anymore, it will only read ssv1, you need a lite-on drive from an xbox flashed with 0800 firmware, this will give you the ssv2 files or you can patch them manually using abgx verified!!
