I can't get the key to dump, everytime bad serial data.
using jf 1.88 and a maximus v2.3 360xtractor with probe,
and latest jf tut. I am on newest dash. tried r7o7 and mx101 still nothing.

are you sure the right com port is selected? are you using usb or serial?

right com port drive reads on jf and usb no serial on comp.
no problems till new 0251 fw on key dumps.

Could it be the maximus xtractor doesn't work with new 0251 fw?
blue light on probe dosen't come on mpx01 but does on r707

Correct. I think this has changed but it has been a while. Time to invest in a lizard :)

Been doing some reading can't find a answer.
Can I just get the scorpion 2 and use that without the lizard.
Will it work with just the xtractor?
