swap actual game with burned copy

ok....i do not have a flashed drive or jtag or anything, would it be possible to take apart the dvd drive and swap out a stock game after it loaded with a burned copy. i have a stack of games that load but when anything is selected to play it goes to disk is unreadable...any ideas on this thought?? seems like in theory it would would work....right? could antone with a stock and burned copy of the same game test this for me?

Yeah i've got an idea read tuts that explain how to play back up games,my sig has the tuts you NEED to READ in the forum,Then & only then ask a question/s..capeeche

not so much. the laser is fine and has been replaced the games that dont really load to well r really trashed lol. its amazing they work in the first place really

as for ur guides....if i ever have video file issues thanks, none of them help me at all. i know almost every 360 and ps3 as well as wii mods so thanks on that end as well, i was only asking a simple question as i dont have any dvd-dl-r's to test my own idea. i got the idea from installing a game on my old phat starting it up removing it from the drive and putting it in my slim in another room to play sys link. i just wanna know if i wait for a spin down if i can swap the retail with a copy after it loads for the first time thats all. the guides on here r good though but sadly i know them all. they dont help me right now

your idea will never work, the reason is that the disc throughout play always reverts to check security data, if it just checked it on spin up and then stayed only on game play then the idea would work, but since it checks periodically then the first time it looked for the data again it would stop working, may be a lot easier to take your games to someone that has a buffing machine and have them resurfaced.

what the..lol..took me a few seonds to figure out what you were talking about..lmao..the 2nd link in my sig is what you needed to understand what will & won't work when attempting to play backups on a 360,your best option i suspect is an x360key
