This damn I/0 error malarkey with Imageburn

Hi
Suddenly out of a clear blue sky, so to speak.. I?m suddenly getting the I/0 error when image burn is verifying sectors. You know Status 0*02 SK Interpretation, LEC Uncorrectable error blah blah. Burn completes but the error kicks in when verifying sectors.

I?ve done some research and know you can still put through kprobe etc but I get the unrecognised disk, check disk condition message when I try and play.

Already have two coasters and can?t afford any more. If it was lens wouldn?t that stop the burn rather than just kick in during verification of sectors?

Grateful for your thoughts.
