If you are asking this question, you obviously have no business trying to solder it to your board. Do plenty of research first, learn how to solder and use all recommended accessories such as the nand-x and CK3pro.
you sir, are correct. as i mentioned in this thread, i have no soldering skillz at all. i didn't want to keep derailing wabashman's DashLaunch v2.26 thread so i created this one.
there is somebody in san diego that will do the rge hack for me but i have to provide the chip. he only provides the installation service. at first i found the matrix glitcher but jpizzle said that the tx coolrunner was much better over at elitemodscene.
so again, is that the chip that i need or is there something else? thanks.
also, once the rge hack is put into place, do you have to do additional solders to update the box or is the maintenance all software based?
Your installer should have the equipment to dump your xbox nand and the equipment to program the cpld, I would recommend you check this. Other than this, this is all you need
You don't need to resolder anything once its done, there is a xbox app that will allow you to update if you need to (Think its called flash360)

i ended up getting the executer coolrunner *link* from vgcrepairs. you saved me from getting the nand-x and some other equipment that i guess i don't need. thanks.
