unrecognized disc error help

I am getting unrecognized disc errors on my hitachi flashed xbox but when I put it in my brothers benq flashed xbox drive it works fine. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

I already cleaned it idk how to change them and it reads older discs but not new ones i burn but the new ones work in my brothers benq drive

Which Hitachi drive is it? Are you getting the error message on originals or only on backups? If you're getting it for backups, what method are you using to burn the games?

Ok I dont have a hdd i been using a usb memory stick do i put the TU on the stick in the xbox 360 folder?

Well, everything depends on which Hitachi drive you have. This thread should help you:

Irrespective of which Hitachi drive you have, you'll have to purchase an iHas B model in order to burn newer games.

Btw some of your xgd3 games worked because Hitachi DOES support "some" truncated games but not all of them. Although some truncated games might work, you'll encounter problems at some stage.

I have never been able to get max payne to work on my LT2 - I used every TU updaed going and also check it through isogod
