Unrecognized disc error with new burner max

I keep getting unrecognized disc error for using my liteon ihas 124-04b. I followed the tutorial exactly how it was written and had no problems in doing so. I then tried to burn a backup with a verbatim mkm 001 disc at 2.4x, like usual. It took approximately 3 hours to burn with hyperspeed and other eeprom features turned off. When i put it into the xbox, i got this error. I thought it was just my rip, so i got another rip and turned on the eeprom features and gave it another go. It still took about 3 hours to burn and i still had no success. Anyone else having this problem?

Please help i am very frustrated.

If it makes any difference, I have the liteon hooked up via a pci card. Also I have a sammy in my xbox that is flashed with lt 2.01.

did u reinstall your sata card drivers?if not theres ur problem.plus 3 hrs?wow.takes me 45 mins and no coasters yet
