hi, i bought my 360 (moded) and is using 8599 dashboard. now i want to use the usb port but, the current dashboard isnt work and i just check the newer dashboard are able to use the usb port.Im newbie and need some steps/guide to update my 360 to latest dashboard.I read thread that
1. Flash your 360 back to stock firmware 2. Update the dashboard to the latest version
3. Flash your 360 with the latest LT+ version available for your drive (hopefully, that's LT+ 2.0)
is it the actual step for me? any links for me to refer?

yes flash back to stock is a good start,and google is a wonderful invention for information.

for the 3rd step, is it need the x360usb and the probe 3? can i do it without those things?

my dvd is lite-on 93450c and is it necessary to get x360usb pro and Probe III to flash the rom?
