Is the live network currently safe for 3.0 users? I used to have a bookmarked page that kept an up to date status report but I am unable to locate it. Right now I have 14699 and I am being asked to update. Thanks in advance.

I'd say Live is as safe as it can get, assuming you're on 3.0 and make sure your games are verified through ABGX, before taking them online. But, there's always a chance of being banned. Nobody can guarantee you won't be. There haven't been any large ban hammers for a few years though now. It's almost as though MS is afraid to ban people because of the ruckus that it caused last time.
