wow ok thanks for the info on how to upgrade the HD i have 5 myself and softmodded each one but the upgrade for some reason i can not do tried like 5 times now i did step by step of what you told me but when i put the new HD in it doesnt work !!!!!
you said to use cd to put the HD files on but i used a dvd it works fine the xboxhd came up followed the steps but just cant do it dont know what im doing wrong please help ?

Are you trying to do it for the Xbox 360? If so, check out this guide here.

I was going to try and help but i have absolutely no idea what your talking about! if you can break down what your talking about in lingo that is used and understood maybe you can get some help!

Ya I second that! I figured I'd help anyways, since it just sounds like a hard drive upgrade for the 360, or original Xbox, just don't know...

Ok what I was saying is that on my original old first gen Xbox not 360 I have soft modded no problem BUT I been trying to upgrade the 8G hard drive to 500G hard drive I made the xboxhd file saved the empom file an did the C and E file on cd but I burned it to a DVD not a cd an it still worked I follow the step on the xboxhd DVD I made an finsh with number 3 to lock the hard drive BUT when I put the hard drive in the Xbox it don't work I did it about 5times an still nothing
