Hi i recently had the misfortune of letting my 3 year old soon loose on my xbox and now my BF3 and Fifa disks has been scratced to death. Is there anyway i can play without the disks, ive got installed to my hard drive. I dont want to play fifa online but i do bf3 so dont want an xbox ban. Anyway around this?
Cheers

No. Either get an xkey and the game iso or modify your drive and burn the games, both can lead to a ban, also if you don't know how to do it it may be cheaper to buy those two games again, especially with Fifa.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

go with xkey but you'll still need to know how to grab the keys from your drive

Sounds like a lot of hassle, not worth it then? What if i want to play backups? Is it an expensive and painful process? Got a flash drive etc, tired to read up but its quite confsing if your looking at it for the first time :(

I think you got this wrong, he wanted to play games already installed on the harddrive without the disk.

For backups on disk (DVD+R DL) you need a drive flash (cheapest possible way), just go to http://jungleflasher.net/downloads.html and download the Jungleflasher tutorial, it helps you identify the drive type and tells you how to flash. You also need a special burner (iHas x24 B, x being a number between 1 and 6), which is around 30 US$ at ebay.com and if you want to make your own backups instead of downloading them you also need a special drive (DROM 6316, with a few modifications, sometimes 5 US$ at ebay, sometimes more expensive).
If you want to play backups from a harddrive and still want to go online, you need an xK3y, which is around 90 to 100 US$ (google for it) and an external harddrive with decent space, one backup is around 8 GB. You'd still need to get your drive key, so you'd still need the jungleflasher tutorial.
If you want to play backups from a harddrive and don't want to go online anymore you could consider a reset glitch hack, it'll give you way more features than just playing backups, for example emulators for some old-school consoles, DDL stuff and so on. Get it done by a modchop, it's sometimes even cheaper than the xK3y, but you can't go online with this.

Just go to your local Family Video and get your originals fixed by them. It is like 3 bucks each and it works great. Saved my bacon several times!
