What Firmware do i need to Play Skyrim offline?

I have a samsung ms28 flashed with iXtreme 1.6 firmware at the Moment it is a banned console so i am not interested in playing online. I am very interested in playing Skyrim and any other good single player games that may come out. What do i need to do in order to play the new games as far as updating my dash or patching the actual Iso file in order to play.

Offline or online, you still need the latest firmware (as zpaitsel said) in order to boot that game.
