Okay, so here's my situation. I bought a refurbished 360 console from a website pre-flashed with iextreme 1.4. After backing up Halo Reach however, I found that I needed to update my firmware to play backups. After some research I ended up having to do the MRA Hack to get my DVD key. After updating to ixtreme LT, all was well and good. I was asked to accept an update for Black Ops, and by the time I realized it was taking much longer than a normal update I was already on the new dashboard. I read up on the new update and all of that is leading up to my questions:
1.)Once your firmware is updated through the new dashboard, can you change your firmware at all?
2.)If you can change your firmware back to say LT 1.0 how likely will I be flashing my drive without retrieving some kind of new DVD key or something? I'm just afraid that someone is going to find out too late that the new firmware has individual serial numbers that are registered with XBL or some kind of new anti piracy method.
3.)Last question. I see that C4 eva is working on new firmware for the slim drive, but c4evaspeaks is not exactly chalked full of information and I was wondering if someone knew of any websites with up to date information on the teams working on the new firmware?
Q: Once your firmware is updated through the new dashboard, can you change your firmware at all?
A: Yes you will be able to with the new release of jungleflasher coming out very soon

A: No need. New Jungleflasher is coming out which supports dvd key dumping from the new stock fw. Once LT+2.0 XBL will be fairly safe unless your backups arent patched properly with abgx

A: If you bother to read and understand what is written on c4evaspeaks.com C4eva has finished 0800 2.0 and LT+2.0 for slim 0225 liteon drives and is planning to release it after the 6 dashboard updates

I did bother to read and understand that, but I was looking for more specific information. For one thing I don't have a slim, and for another I already have the dashboard update, that's why I was afraid to change anything (including reverting to older firmware) so I was just wondering if there was another site that was a little more encompassing. Don't get me wrong clearly C4 eva is a genius; however, I am not.
