Hi, i am trying to format a 32gig Toshiba flash drive for storing my iso's on, upto now I have tried Fat32 which only lets it store in rar files less than 4gig, I then tried NTFS which allows me to put the full iso on it(extracted) but flashdrive corrupts every time I take it from pc and insert it again, I. Then tried a command prompt with CHKDSK to fix and seems to work eg. Stops corruption but when I try to add something it says Error name or volume label wrong, syntax error or something, it's driving me nuts, can anyone please help me out here, thanks

Sounds like a storage hack to me, you didn't buy it from some chinese seller, did you?
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

Thanks for the replies guys, its not from a chinese seller it was from someone in uk, although it was from ebay.. I have had 2 full iso's on the drive when its inserted into pc, its not until i take out the drive that it becomes corrupted. Its a brand new drive and even corrupts with nothing on it..
Peluynati: i have'nt tried doing it in xbox as i only thought the could read upto 16 gig flashdrive, will give that a go, thanks again guys

Tried formatting it in my xbox, it formatted to fat32 again which doesnt let me install a full iso to it, just says destination drive is full, last time i tried Fat32 i installed all the rar files to it with no problems but when it came to extracting, files where corrupted!! How is it the xbox can install full games to a drive thats fat32 but i cant?

It's because fat32 can't handle a single file larger than 4gb, But when the xbox saves a game to the hard drive it doesn't just save the iso, it creates a god folder, which contains multiple files.
If you format the drive using the xbox's dash, it will only give you a maximum of 16gb on the flash drive, regardless of how big the pen drive is.
I'd recommend getting some sort of partition manager and deleting all partitions on the drive and then reformatting to NTFS from scratch and see how that goes. You won't be able to access the files from within the xbox though.

Hi, thanks for your reply but i have been in touch with the seller and he has agreed to give me a refund, dont understand why it would keep corrupting other than it being faulty as it wasnt just doing it in one format but both Fat32 and NTFS although they where both different errors..
Thanks again
