Which mod do I have?

I have an xbox a friend fixed up for me to play backups. The modification took place about 1.5-2 years ago. Last august '11 a backup caused some problems I didnt get around to fixing until now. I havent done any updates since august 2011 and everything seems to be working fine. My question is how do I go about determining what mod was used so that I can ensure I update the mod correctly.

Details that may help determine:
There was a snag in the initial mod process due to an incompatible (or something along those lines) DVD-drive
I currently have a LiteOn drive according to the yellow wires (not sure how to check what series)
My dashboard is 2.0.13146.0

1) Is you xbox 360 the phat one or the slim one? If its the phat one you most likely will need a CK3 Probe V3 if you dont have the original files such as dummy.bin, key.bin, orig.bin etc etc

2) Before updating your custom firmware, update your update dashboard to the latest version as system update 2.0.13599.0 will reflash your firmware back to a original version. Use the USB update method as it is currently safer than connecting to live since your using a old firmware

3) After youve finished the dashboard update follow the jungleflasher tutorial below on how on how to update your firmware

4) After your drive firmware has been updated and your dashboard is on the latest version remember to run all your games through abgx360 1.0.6 before burning regardless of it being a XGD2/XGD3 game. It is crucial to the safety of your console.

5) If your going to be burning XGD3 Games try not to use the truncate method as people who use it sometimes get disc unsupported which means that your console failed the AP2.5 on the disc

I have done many updates prior to august without any trouble. Is 2.0.13599.0 something that will specifically reflash the firmware?
