Burn faster.

Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

my disc only support 2.4x and its the only speed Imgburn will let me burn at.

Also just tried to burn Elder Scrolls and got the same results.

Have you tried different settings? There's little point in wasting discs by trying again with the same settings.

The other thing you can try is using some MKM-003 discs instead of MKM-001.

The image shows GL1A, there's a GL1B here:

http://www.firmwarehq.com/Lite-On/iHAS424%2BB/files.html

You can verify it by using ImgBurn > Tools > Drive > Check for firmware updates...

^^His drive is flashed with Burner Max which isn't based on the latest firmware. If he flashes it with that, it will be back to a stock drive again.

well so i tried burning at 8x (which imgburn said that it was set too 2.4) and the results came out alot better but it still would not go pass the black screen.

And when you say try diffrent setting do you mean, like turning Smartburn or FHT off, or turning the others ones on, Ive been following this guide it says not to turn the other ones on http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-152...2_5_6_0-912244/

That last burn is absolutely fine.

Halo: Reach is an AP2.5 title, so you need to have LT+ 3.0 installed on your 360 and you need to make sure you've ran the game ISO through abgx360 1.0.6 to patch it before burning, otherwise it won't work.
