x360 dock usb loader info needed plss!

alrite, well iv been looking at the x360dock usb loader, only $75 as i cant get my xbox to flash to LT2.0 still says play dvd, instead of throwing the xbox out could i just replace the dvd tray with a x360dock and a decent hdd and use the xbox this way?
it says that you dont need the dvd key to use, just plug and play. so im pressuming it would work then.
anybody have one of these, are they good news or bad lol

not sure about the security of it but the one thing i dont like is the fact you have to have a computer hooked to it all the time.. I mean what if your in another room or something than your p/c? it's cheaper than the other emulators but is it as convenient?

well you do need your key .you have to put your key.bin and inquriry.bin in the x360 dock folder.i have one and it works great .if u have those bins or can get from your drive then u can use it in place of drive

well you do need your key .you have to put your key.bin and inquriry.bin in the x360 dock folder.i have one and it works great .if u have those bins or can get from your drive then u can use it in place of drive
iv got the orig.bin file i did on the first flash but it does gove me play dvd when i try flash a proper drive? i kow its rite tho. how would i get the inquiry.bin from this, and can i use a external hdd as i also read u hook it to pcc hdd :/

i'm curious about the HDD thing too.. It looks to me like you have to run software on the p/c for it to work

yeah run software on your pc u download from x360dock.com.u need to extract your fw from your box all over again to get your key.bin and inquiry.bin if u dont have em.u dont use ur orig.bin.u open up software select ur iso and your xbox plays the game.ive benn using for a week and every game boots fine

Yeah, nothing like streaming data from a external hard drive to your pc then back out to your 360.....
The x360key has had quite a few new features come out in only a month's time and its a lot more convenient. I say its well worth the extra $25.

I have the problem occasionally where it says play DVD on one of my 360's with LT2.0, I found a solution that works for me. When its says play DVD hit the eject button, then push the tray back in manually and press the off button, wait until it turns off then turn on back on again and it should say lay game with the game icon pic

I have this module installed too in my lite-on slim 0225 and its flashed with lt ixtreme 1,91, when i load iso game on pc its just say reading and than play dvd and than push A and than goes play dvd again and again... plus software says one time connected and for one sec. disconnected and again that stupid thing...dashboard is 2.0.13599, do i must update dashboard to 2.0.13604, but than will lock my xbox360..i dont know what to do, could somebody help Please!....

Guy's module 2 of this does not need the pc to run it's an lcd screen just like the x360key not sure when it's due for release though.

Hey guys, I'm having trouble with some games, not all, just ap25 and xgd3, what can u tell me about? I need to patch the .iso or what?
And answering you all, you dont need to have a flashed xbox to use 360dock, but you need the key and inquiry, i did the extract from my lt1.9 with jungleflasher and homemade probe and worked 100%.
But help me with this ap25 and xgd3 problem, the other games like dead island and pes 2012 work fine.

hi all,
i have slim 0225 console, and was having problems with it saying "play dvd" instead of "play game", and the guys over at x360dock told me that there is a video just for 0225 users, and if i do exactly as they do in the video i wont have probs. i did, and no probs with ANY disk ap25 or xgd3 titles! yes you can use any hard drive (hooked up by sata,ide, or by usb) i have a 3 tb usb hdd, and currently have 65 games on it with 2.25tb free!
if you have a phat system:
sammy,benq or hatachi-- dump ofw, then open jungleflasher,load ofw as source,decline auto load of lt fw, click "save drive key" button, save in same folder as x360dock.exe. then make copy of key.bin, and rename copy to inquiry.bin. save in same folder as x360dock.exe. done!
if you have phat lite-on or slim lite-on:
dump dummy.bin,inquiry.bin,key.bin,etc and place key.bin and inquiry.bin in same folder as x360dock.exe.
*** 0225 USERS ONLY (0225 is only system that is picky/pain)***
with 360 off and Not connected to pc. open x360dock.exe on pc. turn on 360 via controller. at dashboard wait 5 seconds after controller light stops blinking then connect 360 to pc. click "open .iso" button and choose game (DONT open/close tray with controller). choose "open" wait 5 seconds and click "drive mode" button. after x360dock.exe closes completely wait 5 seconds and press and hold silver button on controller, choose "turn of console". after console is completly shut down wait 30 seconds then turn on 360 via controller again (360 SHOULD STILL be CONNECTED AND X360DOCK.EXE SHOULD NOT BE opened/LOADED YET!) at dashboard wait til controller led stops blinking THEN open x360dock.exe,choose game, click open, then hit "A" to open tray, then hit "A" to close tray. will say reading, followed by "play game" with game picture! (wait for game picture b4 hitting "A".)
to change game: simply return to dashboard by hitting silver button on controller,and hit "a" or "y". once at dashboard or if ur already there: hit "x" to eject, open iso, choose game, open, then "a" to close tray.
if you get play dvd: hit "x" to eject, then "a" to close (fast) sometimes this works, if not: hit "x" to eject, choose another game,open, hit "a" to close.
once ur done playing and u turn off ur system, u will have to start over and follow the instructions again.
to people who want to know if its worth $75 dollars, hell yes!! i can update my system as normal when in drive mode or not connected to pc, and play all ap25 or xgd3 titles!! no more flashing drives replacement pcb, buying verbatium disk,burning etc. works awesome! best thing i ever bought my 360!

yea guys, i figure out that problem with loading iso games on liteon 0225 slim, just like
lilpup72401 says....i tried ac revelations, forza4, gears of war 3, battle field 3, skyrim, nfs thr run, and all played perfectly,...i just take ap25.bin from x360dock dir. out and thats it... x360dcok is super emulator, just wait for lcd touch screen....

great news sconti, that ur up n running with x360dock! i too have tried all the games you listed plus cod mw3, and about 100 other xbox 360 titles too, and every game i throw at x360dock, it just rocks them all! people, save urself $25 and buy x360dock module 1 for $75/free shipping, then when it arrives watch the install videos for ur system on x360dock website, n u will be n heaven with it!
X360DOCK ROCKS!!!
yes, the touch screen will replace the need for a p.c, and ur hard drive hooks up to it
(recommend usb type if u plan on touch screen instead of pc). sata drives & ide will still work, but may require pc still. <----not too sure bout sata/ide. just get USB HDD n u will be fine either way.
research forza ms 4 and some cfw are having probs booting, and dont know if its true, but read xkey owners r having to downgrade firmware to play xgd3 titles! in the folder with x360dock.exe is ap25 stealth.bin, xgd3 patch! x360dock supports both out of box with no problems!
with 360 games 7.29gb -----> run through abgx 1st (get all green if can)
with 360 games 8.13gb -----> as long as they r 0800 v3 rip just play!

p.s. on ur hdd where ur games r at, u only need the iso's. so after run through abgx, copy only iso over n delete .dvd file. .dvd file only needed to burn it to blank disk, not needed for x360dock.

u shouldnt have too take ap25.bin out of the folder for it to play. sounds like the rips of those games are missing the ap25 data, and since the ap25.bin cant find it, its not letting it boot the game. run all game .iso's through abgx first.
running all 7.29gb iso's through abgx will ensure ur iso is as close to original as possible, and will ensure x360dock performs as it was designed too.

Ahora expulsa el disco

usando el software x360dock mientras la xbox360 esta encendida y reintenta el metodo reiniciando tu xbox360
NOTA : por algun motivo a este metodo no le gusta iniciar el primer arranque con isos de juegos AP25 , usa cualquier
iso no AP25 en la primera deteccion de backup y entonces puedes cargar cualquier de estos

Hey Guys,
Wondering if someone can help me. I just got my x360dock and installed it as instructions says. double checked everything and all connections made. I power on my 360 and it screen shows the XBox360 splash screen but then gives me the E64 error. I tried it on two consoles. One is a Sammy m28 and the other Liteon. Both are Phat's and both are flashed DVD drives. Does x360dock not work on flashed DVD drive? Do I have to reflash to stock firmware? Or is there something else going on? PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks in advance.

I Had same problem boot the 360 up before connecting the usb or the console hangs and can give that error. Boot to dasboard then connect to the pc and all is ok. Also when selecting iso's always select option to open iso with reboot.

i can connect my to pc, turn on, no prob. thats weird
like other post said the correct way is :
1.)turn on 360 without being connected to pc
2.)wait til at dash
3.)open software on pc
4.)connect usb to pc
ALSO: i use boxzii software v.1.0.8 instead of x360docks software it supports:
14699 dash
silently updated dae.bin
ap25/ap26
new topology data
iso that gave me "disk unsupported errors", i ran those through new abgx on autofix lvl.3, load in boxzii software, plays great! DONT INSTALL BOXZII DRIVERS, just use software.

hey guys, just a little question. i bought one too and im going to install it next weekend. im going to install it on a phat liteon (7485c) xbox. i have the original dummy.bin and key.bin on my hd (the bin's i read out with the probe before i flashed the box the first time). but sadly i lost the inquiry.bin. there is currently a lt+ 1.91 on the drive that SHOULD stay. i dont want to flash back to stock. so only ting i have to do, afetr installaling hardware and software, is to copy the key.bin to the program-folder and make a copy of key.bin and rename it to inquiry.bin, as i've seen it in a video on the official x360dock site ??!
