x360 usb pro issues

So here is what i have. 32 bit pc running windows 7, i have used this setup before to change my firmware and to make iso's for my xkey. today i plug the x360 usb pro the activity and power lights were going nuts. Usually the power light glows green and the portio activity just blinks till i get into jf. So i hit the reset on it and the power light is on, the portio light is on but no activity light. i go to jf and it recognizes my ck3 but doesn't say it recognizes my usb pro and never gives me the right drive. I go over to device manager and after i plug in the x360 usb pro i dont get the xbox 360 I/O device drivers. I have tried to update the x360 usb pro to no avail. anyone have a clue and could posibly point me in the right direction. I really don't want to buy a new usb pro. Thanks

You didnt flip the switch at the side by accident?Have you tried a different usb port or are u running a hub on a laptop.I had similar issues until i ran the device seperate from the hub.Have you reinstalled the drivers or tried a rollback.Do all other devices work ok on your usb ports?Have you tried updating the firmware for the x360 usb?

So I finally got it. Thanks richietea, as I was waiting for some help I tried another device on my USB port and fund it to be inoperable.
