So I've been looking around and am trying to find info on which is better. When I say better I mean do both require a PC to be next to the Xbox and are both update-able. Also in recent with the new DAE.bin is being silently updated through Xbox Live with an additional challenge table, does these chips work with that.
Basically in light of all the new M$ tricks to keep us off the Xbox will these still work?
Any info on this or even just a vote on which one you prefer and why would be very helpful to me and I am sure others with the same questions.
Thanks in advance!

the x360 dock should be called the x360 piece of shit.not only does it require a pc but the instalation is fucked up.the chip its self is a piece of shit.had to solder mine to the sata connection cause it broke just by plugging in the sata cable..worst 75 bucks i ever spent .throw n 25 more dollarsand get the key

yeah blame the unit for your incompetence & since you haven't had both units side by side your opinion is just that an opinion not a fact & as such can't be trusted
@jay
best bet is to wait assuming you can handle that..lol..reason being no matter what unit you get there's no proof of good long term support, they're far to new, personally i'd give it year a more, however if your think'n of going live with these get another box strictly for online,as for comparing the two units do some web searching & make sure any comments are fact based & take any opinions with a dose of salt

In all fairness, you could have stated that you had both, installed both, pros and cons based on personal experience. I too, thought you only had the dock.

Wow yeah so I don't really want to wait as I have a burning desire to start playing these xgd3 games.!! I do have a banned Xbox and one that isn't banned and then one that is stock to play online with. I am sick of burning these verbatim's and having them not work. I have done my home work and understand how they work and what they do and how to install them I guess just want some personal insight on them.

So the x360key doesn't require a computer and can play a game off of a flash thumb drive or an external hard drive right? I'll pay a few extra bucks to not have the hassle of keeping my PC next to it. It also looks like the x360key has a remote to toggle through options how does this work from your experiences?

jayKTM,
the touch screen will be released soon, with that you dont need pc. you can either buy the module 1 now (needs pc) or wait for module 2 (doesnt need pc). the only difference is module 2 will include the touch screen. people who bought the module 1 only needs to buy the touch screen if they want to get away from using pc. (they will get a discount on touch screen for buying module 1 now).
yes you can use flash drive on either one, but remember each game is 7.29gb(xgd2) or 8.13gb(xgd3), so a 8gb flash drive will only hold 1 xgd2 game. yes you can use any hard drive hooked up to the pc, usb hard drives are the best, because you will be able to hook them up to the touch screen! hope this helps.
the xkey has a remote comming out of the 360 (has cord, not that long either) you plug flash drive/usb hd in remote, the remote detects the hd/flash drive, and displays games which you can select and load.
the x360 dock will have a touch screen remote that does the same thing. you can even put game images or any picture you want for each game, and control by iphone etc.

The xk3y has a usb dongle coming out of the back and it plugs into the usb port. Really clean looking and not noticable at all from the front of the xbox. Then you can plug your usb hdd or remote if you dont feel like using the dashboard to pick your games.. not sure why anyone would rather get up to pick games instead of staying seated and picking games on the dashboard.
The Xk3y also has a wifi dongle so you can use any smart device to choose your games through that Also my xk3y displays pictures on the dash before i pick them!
there is a list of features still being worked on by The xk3y team http://www.x360keyforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=409

What about the Wasabi 360? Did it ever release? I liked it because it integrated with the (phat) 360's design the same way the Xecuter Blaster did. Very clean look.

So I like the idea of having my hdd drive plugged in and being able to pick games from the dash board. I wasn't aware that the xk3y could do that. So I think the conclusion is if I buy one now it will need to be updated soon so better to what to get one?!
Although the x360dock has some new features coming out will it as good as the xk3y?
