I have a Xbox360 which is running on LT2.0, and I was thinking of ordering a 360Key or a Wasabi360; trying to figure out which is better? which has more features and which is cheaper! :p
Can both play all games including XGD3 games? what about jtag files/addons/arcade live games?

1) both can play XGD3 games.
2) In my opinion i would get the Wasabi 360 because of its inbuilt key extraction. But the downside of the Wasabi is that if microsoft patch the dashboard loading method for games that wasabi uses then it will be completely useless compared to the X360KEY which has a remote
3) Regarding jtag files/addons/arcade live games you have to have a JTAG or RGH in order to use them
4) Remember to upgrade to LT3.0 if you are thinking of going onto Xbox Live

so the wasabi extracts your drive key and xkey doesnt?
hows live with both going right now?
so far ALL games are playable with either?
I didnt understand what you said about microsoft patching etc etc? Is the xkey safer when it comes to microsofts hack prevention? is that what you meant? What about the remote? sorry for all the rambling.

The Wasabi can only extract the key from certain disc drives. That said, the XKey features a remote control which you can use to load your ISOs. If MS decides to update the dashboard and finds a way to block the Wasabi, there is no other way to load ISOs with Wasabi, except through the dashboard. Where as the XKey has it's own remote control. So all the XKey team would need to do is release new firmware and you can always load games through the remote.

First of all: There is no economically useful way of unbanning an Xbox 360. It's possible, but you'd have to have a RGH or JTAG done. You would need a clean, unbanned NAND too. In order to stay on Live you'd then need to have the RGH or JTAG removed. Or you simply get an Xbox 360 without cables etc. off ebay for around 50 bucks.
About the RROD-fixes: Mine never lasted a year and I realy don't trust these repairs.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

Yea I didn't explain myself too well, I meant I didn't want my Xbox because it's banned and was thinking about trading with my friends 360, which is not banned, but his has that shady rrod fixes done to it.
Damn I wonder how reliable those xboxes off eBay can be? Which is the one that fully fixed all the rrod issues, so I know which to buy? Thanks a lot man!
This xkey sounds real promising and a lot of awesome ass games are coming soon and the ps3 scene couldn't get any worse right. Dex cex method? Holy crap.

For an Xbox 360 off ebay I'd buy one that hasn't been opened before. If it has been opened you never know what has been done so far, if the drive was spoofed or if it has had a RROD repaired and fails after a day.

The Wasabi is a piece of junk and you cannot use it on xbox live like the xkey. It doens't nearly have the support the xkey has either. Stick with Xkey if you want something that is going to last. Wasabi can be blocked much easier than xkey.

Lol why so harsh man, I have the wasabi and I love it but I don't use it on live or anything like that, its a pretty nice unit if your banned. I had a xkey but it started freaking the hell out for some reason. It did a good job of emulating exaclty how the 360 drive would operate. I still prefer the wasabi cause now I dont have to worry about my external hard drive being on all the time, its stable and games load faster.

What do you mean the xkey can go on live? I though the xkey isn't live compatible yet? I just bought the xkey I really hope you are right as I can't figure out how do go on line yet

The xkey has been Live compatible since Launch. Why on earth wouldn't it be? Been on mine since Feb, no problems. Also have a buddy who's been on Live with his even longer. He even plays games a week early on occasion, he's had no problems. I just don't think it's as easy to detect as modded firmware, all it's doing is emulating the drive with the stock firmware, I really don't see any way that MS would even be able to tell you're running one.

It's no different then running CFW. It's not that it's harder to detect. It's just the FACT that M$ isn't doing what they used to do in the past.

I'm guessing the Xkey's true test is going to be the Fall update.
XBL safe vs being able to play on XBL are 2 completely different things.

But, what is there even to detect? That some kind of emulator is running? I don't know all the technical aspects behind it, but if it's simply acting like the drive with no CFW, I don't see how it's even detectable. At least, detectable for MS to definitively tell you're doing something that you shouldn't be.
I'm also not sure why they've gone so lax on the bannings. It's not like they have individual people sitting at a computer having to wade through thousands of gamertags and manually ban consoles. I'd assume they have software and a system that just nails everyone when someone tells it to.

The fall update means nothing. Playing burned games is no safer than using the xkey.

There hasn't been a ban wave in 3 years for a reason

Wow I had no idea that I could use the Xkey on live as the website says "Work in progress:
Xbox Live support". I'm using it now on live and without any problems. I can't understand why anyone would knock the Xkey when it's awesome and goes on live and you don't have to constantly re-burn discs to get them to work...saving tons of cash now.
