I'm not the best with computers but I have a decent understanding of them, I've watched many videos on modding for xbox360s. I wanted to know if someone could help me step by step, without having to do soldering and using adapters. I have a ben q dvd drive.

Why not pay somebody to do it for you? Nobody is going to hold your hand through this whole process. You might run into snags like "comp wouldn't recognize the device", among other problems that can't be reconciled by messaging back and forth. If you take the time to research fully, you wouldn't need somebody to help you. All of the info that you need is in these forums, latest JF tutorial, and on youtube. If you take the easy way out, you never gain any knowledge from it. Keep researching, and please stop starting threads on here asking for somebody to hold your hand through the entire process. I'll give you some advice. You have a Ben-Q, which is the easiest drive to get into vendor mode and flash. If you read the jungleflasher tutorial (just the benq section), you would see how easy this process is. It's cut and dry. No soldering, nothing complicated.
