Ok so I have a jtag xbox and its worked fine forever and then out of no where i get the error e79 but when i turn it on then back off it was fine then it wouldnt come back for a while. Then it started more and more often and then it was every time i went to play my xbox i had to power cycle it and when it does the error 79 it would force me to go through the initial setup. now everytime i turn it on it has the error code and i have tried removing the hard drive,tried playing with a different hard drive,tried cleaning the port the hard drive goes in,replaced my diodes but they was from one that was broken then i have reflowed it using the method of baking it in the over,and nothing,i have baked it several times and still wont work. i have fixed alot of xboxes using that method as its pretty effective but im sure some ppl have a problem with it. but nothing i do will fix it,anyone else have a reason? i rlly want to be able to play it again,love my jtag. its a original jtag,xenon board. i guess if i cant fix it im going to do the glitch mod to another console if i can find a tut,lol. if anyone has any clue i would appriciate it.
