Hey people,

I recently picked up an xbox 360 with 1 red light which I x-clamp fixed.
It has been opened before and the first thing I noticed was the piece of foil between de GPU and the heatsink wasn't there.

In my own xbox it was there so I asked the person I got it from if it was there before.
He told me he had removed it.

My question is if this can cause the E74 to come back and if that piece of foil needs to be there.
If so, can I replace it somehow?
The xbox works, but every now and then it's e74 eroor returns.
I have gotten rid of it all the time so far by re-applying thermal grease on the gpu and reheating it, but I don;t want to do it everytime after playing for several hours.
