Xbox Live connection problem

I got Madden 25 recently, and I could not connect to xbox live while playing. I returned the game, and now I cannot connect to xbox
live on any other game. It just disconnects me, and then when I try to connect again it says I cannot connect to xbox live. However, then I checked my connection and it says I am connected just fine. I have made sure all of the cords are plugged in tight, and my xbox live doesnt expire until next year. If anyone knows whats going on please let me know.

Try going into connection settings and set to default to reassign your IP address.
