I'm sorry, I'm pretty new to this, so not sure if these questions are dumb or not :-p
I own an Xbox 360, and have backing up my games for years in case of damage (some I've apparently played to non existence). First of all, is there a way to play my games from an external hard drive if I get my Xbox modded. And if so, what kind of mod do I need to do and how do I play off my HD?. ANY information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Just google Jtag, youll find what youre after.
So I found a Jtag Xbox to buy, does it need anything else?
Also, how will I be able to play on the Jtaged xbox? Just plug it into the USB, look for the DVD files and that's it, or is something else needed? I REALLY do appreciate you getting back and letting me know :)

1) No
2) You load the games onto your hdd and load the executable for the game with xex menu

Awesome. So I'll extract the .DVD and .ISO files, put them in a folder together labeled with the game name, and junk the rest of the files?
