XGD3 Burning Problems!

Hey guys!
I recently modded my old Xbox360 w/o HDMI and I was so happy to have it modded. I bought games from my friend who actually did the modding and had no problems. I took the next step into trying to burn my own games. So i grabbed a iHAS124 B AL0S internal drive and bought a NexStar DX to make my drive portable. Now I have Flashed it using the iXtreme Burner Max with the tutorial and everything. I downloaded the abgx360 to verify my games and ImageBurn to burn my games. Heres the thing: I did everything from A to B in burning my games..from the settings to everything. I am using Verbatim DVDR DL with 2.4 speed and I still get Unrecognized Disc on my 360. My friend who modded my system sent me games to see if my xbox was messed up and they worked fine. Under settings and Write I am doing everything right but I dont know what I am doing wrong, can someone please help me out or give me any solutions to what I might be doing wrong

did you check your settings with eeprom and clear opc history? and did you check with kprobe to make sure they were good burns?

I didnt know about kprobe so im doing that as I type thanks. Cleared my OPC but do I have Perform OPC checked inside Settings/write? What about my settings with eeprom?

Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

those discs should only be burnt at 2x and untick opc!

I use the 2.4 verbs too. In EEPROM I enable all options and clear opc history, burn at 4x and all my backups burn just fine.
