anything before xgd3 can be burnt with any burner that burns dual layers?
xgd3 games can only be burnt with specific burners that need the actual firmware installed on it?
my 360 has been modded to the latest 2.0, is there a way i could back up games onto the hard drive and play it off it?
i have both xbox 360 and ps3 consoles, is there a way i could use the ps3 controller on the xbox 360? i just wanna do something real cool to both of them!

btw ive also read that my console cannot played backed up games from the hd.... u wouldnt have a tutorial or something for my xbox phat which the dashboard was 8955 before it got modded..

Almost certainly not. The firmware requires that you own a burner with a particular chipset, which is why you can't just install it on any. If you try it, either the flashing utility will just block you from doing it or you'll brick your burner.
As for playing games from the hard drive, you can install them just like you can install originals. You still need the disc in the drive to play though. A flashed 360 doesn't have extra functionality over a non-flashed one, other than treating backups as original discs.
