Xmenu Stuck at Executing in XeLL

I grabbed Xmenu from xbins, popped it on my Kingston flash drive, placing the xenon.elf on the root along side the xmenu folder. I hit eject, power up the console to XeLL and it gets to the stage where it scans for xenon.elf. It finds it and says executing, but it just freezes up at this step. Is there soemthing I missed?
